Fall quarter is in full swing, making this a great time to welcome our new international scholars to the School of Business! Joining us from Reutlingen University in Germany, University of Bologna in Italy and Seoul National University in South Korea, this talented and accomplished group will work with current faculty in areas of macroeconomics, organizational behavior and corporate finance. As the new MBA cohort settles in at the School of Business, we're getting to know a bit more about who they are as a class. Some interesting highlights include the fact that our full time cohort has more female students (54%) than the national average (approximately 36%). The full time program also attracts a high percentage of international students (38%) from several countries including China, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Nigeria and Germany. PSU named "Changemaker Campus" by global organization
Portland State University has been named a "Changemaker Campus" by Ashoka U, an organization committed to advancing higher education as a key driver of social change and innovation. The School of Business Administration's Impact Entrepreneurs program played a key role behind this designation for its social innovation and entrepreneurship efforts. Read more
Master's Degree in Real Estate Development officially launches
This fall, the School of Business officially launched the new Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED). PSU is one of only two universities in the Northwest and the sole university in the state of Oregon to offer the degree. The program includes classes in real estate, finance, public policy and real estate project development as well as electives in various offerings provided by the School of Business Administration and School of Urban Studies and Planning.
