No specific
assignment. Time permitting, review the financial forecasting
chapter from your Corporate Finance text.
Note: Fin 565
is a class where the focus is on revisiting and applying the concepts
and tools from the corporate finance class. As such, it is a great
venue to ask questions, try new things, and explore some of the nuances
of the techniques/concepts from corporate finance. I'm assuming you
have a reasonable understanding of the broad topics from corporate
finance but I am not assuming you can apply all of the techniques and
concepts without error. The point of this course is to reinforce the
concepts from the first course, explore those areas where you have
questions and to develop your skills at a more deliberate pace than
what you experienced in your prior corp. fin. course. Because the
course is case based, you will be much more involved in class
interaction. The cases will be interesting to work and will help
to develop applied problem solving skills.
