Marilyn Johnson

Marilyn Johnson has a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Oregon and an M.S. in Management from Marylhurst. She teaches at PCC. After nearly 25 years, she recently retired from a major bank in Portland to devote more time to teaching. During her banking career, Marilyn worked as a lending officer, assistant branch manager and branch manager. She teaches a variety of business classes, including management, marketing, and accounting. She has traveled throughout the world (visiting various European countries, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico) discovering the many subtleties of business in other countries. She involves herself in the future of education, the challenges of using technology in education and how to continuously encourage students to become critical thinkers while in college and throughout their lives. |
