Mr.
Silvey is a fulltime practicing lawyer and partner at Foster Pepper LLP
in
downtown Portland.He has practiced law
for 35 years, 19 years in California and 16 years in Oregon.In addition to being licensed in California
and Oregon, he is licensed to practice law in Washington and Idaho.His practice is focused on real estate
development and finance.He has worked
on numerous public/private partnerships including the Rose Garden
Arena,
Seahawks Stadium, American Airlines Arena (Miami Heat’s Arena),
Washington
State Convention and Exhibition Center, and the New Columbia Hope VI
Project
for the Housing Authority of Portland.
Mr.
Silvey is the Past President of the Oregon Chapter of National
Association of Industrial
and Office Properties, Past Chair of the Oregon Chapter of the
Counselors of
Real Estate and the President of the Clackamas Community Land Trust.Mr. Silvey graduated from the University of
California, Santa Barbara, A.B., with Honors and the Hastings College
of the
Law, University of California, J.D. with the Order of the Coif.He has been a frequent lecturer at continuing
legal education seminars in both California and Oregon.
