Portland State Ranked #20 in Environmental and Social Stewardship
(Portland, OR - October 28, 2005) The 2005 Beyond Grey Pinstripes Report has ranked Portland State University in the top 20 of MBA programs worldwide for its integration of social and environments stewardship into the MBA curriculum and faculty research.
The ranking places Portland State University in the company of such renowned schools as Stanford Business School, Notre Dame, University of Michigan and The Darden School at the University of Virginia. For a full listing of ranked programs visit www.beyondgreypinstripes.org.
Beyond Grey Pinstripes is a biennial survey of full-time MBA programs sponsored by a consortium of global companies such as Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Johnson & Johnson, American Express and Citigroup, among others.
The survey rates schools on the degree to which they integrate social and environmental stewardship into MBA curricula and faculty research. Portland State was recognized for the caliber of its faculty research, and the emphasis on social and environmental awareness in required core courses in the PSU MBA program. In addition, Portland State offers MBA students the option to specialize in Environmental Sustainability through the Environmental Sciences department at PSU.
