National recognition is coming to Hannah Bea's!!! It all happened as follows: Earlier in summer 2004, a producer from the
food network show, Roker on the Road, came into Hannah Bea's
Poundcake and More, just to have lunch. Sara, the producer, came to eat
with a regular customer of Hannah Bea's, John Navarre, who also happens
to be the owner of Navarre restaurant. Sara loved the food and
atmosphere of Hannah Bea's so much that she asked if Anita would like
for Al Roker to visit since he would be in town for an event with Kraft
Foods. Not knowing that Sara was a TV producer, Anita said, "Yes". So
the producer said, "You have 2 days to get ready." The BOP is proud that one of its "star clients", Anita Smith, is receiving the recognition she has worked so hard to earn. She is now in the process of preparing for the increase in business that she will receive from this national exposure. The show aired October 12th, 2004 at 9 PM. Check the food network website.
