MBA+ Business Projects

The MBA+ Business Projects Program of the School of Business Administration (SBA) offers area businesses and organizations the opportunity to “hire” MBA+ students who are in the final stages of their degree program.

In small teams of three or four, students apply their classroom learning to real business problems. The sponsoring companies are considered serious clients and receive many of the benefits of professional consultation, without significant costs. Each student commits 200 or more hours. Clients can expect the equivalent of 3-5 months work on the project. New projects are started four times each year.

Throughout the program’s history, companies and organizations of all sizes and in numerous industires have sponsored a project. These projects represent the full range of activities, from developing a business plan, a new marketing strategy to performing a financial analysis for a new product.

Clients must cover all agreed upon out-of-pocket expenses and upon completion of the project, we ask the client to make a donation to support SBA.

If you want to propose or discuss a project concept in more detail, please review Business Project Guidelines or email Brian Ruder.
