Advertising Management
The Advertising Management Option provides the student with a carefully designed set of courses in advertising management and provides local organizations with a pool of well-qualified employees. This program is designed to develop decision making and analytical skills in the functional areas of advertising. The program includes courses in Account Management, Copy and Layout, Media, and Research.
Advertising Management Option Requirements (2006-2007 bulletin year)*
A minimum of 23 credits as follows:
- MKTG 340 - Advertising (4)
- MKTG 441 - Media Strategy (4)
- MKTG 442 - Creative Strategy (4)
- MKTG 443 - Advertising Campaigns or MKTG 407 (4)*
- MKTG 460 - Marketing Research (4)
- MKTG 363 -- Buyer Behavior & Customer Satisfaction (4)
* NOTE: Advertising Management students may contact the Student Services Office at 725-3712 for a referral to the professor in charge of Marketing 407, which takes part in the National Student Advertising Competition.
